Students from European and Accredited European Schools “intermingle”

The president of CoSEEA format, Romy Grossert, participated in the recent CAPEEA’s term call and informative session, bringing together the powers of students and parents of AES system in one front.
CAPEEA spoke with her, in light of the latest CoSEEA and CoSup annual joint meeting. “CoSEEA” is the official Student Union of Accredited European Schools and “CoSup” the student representative organisation for the 13 European Schools.

Romy commented: “CoSEEA and CoSup held their annual joint meeting at an accredited European School for the first time. I’d like to thank the European School RheinMain and all participants for making this highly productive meeting possible! Seeing representatives from so many schools across the EU gather for a united cause—fighting for students—brings me great joy and pride as president of CoSEEA. As for the meeting itself, we debated documents to be discussed at the Joint Teaching Committee, presented our progress in the collaboration between both student bodies and Alumni Europae, and received the kick-off for the annual European School student party, Euronight—the largest one ever. After our joint meeting, CoSEEA came together to provide advice to one another on challenges and student well-being initiatives through an interactive feedback structure. Increasing visibility for European school-wide events, such as Eurosports, FAMES, Writing Fest, and more, is something we continue to work on to encourage greater AES participation. The Euroevents working group presented their progress on this initiative, as did our other working groups, including Public Relations, Erasmus+, Newsletter, and Europals. We were also fortunate to receive a message from Alexandra Burchard, President of CAPEEA, emphasizing the connection between AES parents and students in representation and our shared goal of growing closer together as a “family” within the European School system. I’d like to thank everyone involved for their contributions and look forward to the results in the rest of the CoSEEA 2024-25 term!“
